Subject: Fuse Box Misery
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8"

1991 Multivan. My fusebox developed a burnt fuse holder on the 20 amp fuse that powers the door lock actuators for the central locking system. I was testing out replacement of the old defunct actuator with a new eurovan replacement and obviously crossed wires. The fuse, instead of just blowing nicely, basically incinerated itself. I'm starting the process of extracting the busted up fuse and wondered if anyone has done anything similar and had any advice. Can I replace the connectors for the fuse holder? Or is this the process of extracting the broken fuse bits with small pick tools and polishing the fuse blade holders individually? I understand that I can replace the entire fuse block but would like to avoid that. Thanks for the help. Brent
