Subject: Vanagon spotting: was What can go wrong....
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8"

Sorry, a couple things I forgot to mention in the trip report is that while up in the Blue Ridge Parkway we spotted another white Westy traveling the opposite direction. Looked well out fitted.

Then, on our last leg heading down I-80 near Colfax we had a beautiful light blue Syncro Westy follow us for quite a way. I was planning on a stop in Auburn and was hoping that they would stop too but I think he got tired of going so slow and passed us with a wave. Really nice looking rig with surfboards on top.

Also, for the trip I installed a nifty rearview mirror that attaches nicely to the factory mirror and has navigation/front/rear cam/and other Android stuff. Works really well plus you can still see out the back depending on your focus. The only bad thing is that you can't see the map with sunglasses on. Polarization issue..... But I still liked having it.

Cheers!

Steven 91 Westy
