Ahhhh, ok. I see the logic now. Thanks. 8 Amp fuse for 2 lights, 16
Amps for 4.

Since I'd seen "Radio Conn" at that fuse in Digijet diagrams, I
assumed VW had designed that circuit for a future added load. But then
that radio connection could simply be for the dial light? (small draw)

In spite of the "Radio Conn" shown in the Digijet diagrams, I think it
would be prudent to delete the wire I installed for a future load.
