Why not go out behind the headlight and down and under and in and up as they do from the factory. Every wire I have seen under a carpet unless factory done gets messed up from walking on it and the dirt and grime that accumulates around it. It is much easier and faster to out and underneath then pulling carpet and snaking wire in my opinion.
