Neil N, Thanks for your reply. What I was concerned with was the double running of the fuel pump. I don't recall it doing that before, but it just may be my lack of attention. I was considering that that might be a clue to the problem. The Vanagon is out in the street in the sun and it's over 100 degrees out. I need to wait for the cooler evening and I need to move the van to a better place to diagnose it. I'll check for fuel and spark when I am better able. Thanks, Mike |
