I had a shop call me today and they have an 88 Westy at the shop right now. The rear AC housing around the evaporator, fell down (don't ask me how this happened as it is wood and has metal screws going into a metal bracket). Anyway the inside plastic baffles and mounts for the two rear blower fans is completely wrecked. I know some of you folks become obsessed with removing your rear AC from that cabinet so you can get .5 cubic inches more storage space so I was wondering if any of you kept the old stuff hanging around anywhere. I am pretty sure it would need to be from a Westy that is an 87 or newer. The earlier versions won't work. Let me know what you have. -- Thanks, Ken Wilford John 3:16 www.vanagain.com |
