I have a pole barn - lots of field mice around. I keep a 5-gallon bucket with about a gallon of coolant in it and get about 20 mice per year in it. Apparantly, they like the smell and crawl up and fall in. They oddly, perfectly preserved in the coolant. Also have D-Con trays around the perimeter. NO dogs allowed in the barn!
