Sorry about your mishap! Any decent shop can replace the radiator, it's the bleeding they need to research on ALLDATA, or give them your Bentley, which I'm sure you carry around! ;-)

Potential problem is the radiator may be pinched in, particularly since it was punctured, and can't be lowered out. Body work may need to be done first, so you may need to find a body shop in or near Myrtle Beach. Time to call your insurance company.

Good luck!

Stuart

HI All; They were right, the traffic to see the eclipse is terrible! On the way to Myrtle Beach SC on the infamous I 95, I was involved in a pileup. Had a Tahoe bumper ride over mine (his back raised up from hitting vehicle in front of him, I braked hard and dipped down) hard enough to push through to the radiator. Thank God no one hurt. I made it to a truck stop while the lifeblood of my engine slowly peed out. Watched temp gage like a hawk and pretty sure I made it OK. AAA and $160 later the bus in my sister's driveway in Myrtle Beach. Here's the question. Anyone know of a shop around Myrtle Beach that can replace the radiator? The body work can wait until I get home. Still going to see the eclipse darn it. I got all the gear, and I'm going to use it! Everyone out there be careful.

Dave B.
