Indeed yes! Maybe I'm not seeing where else I could test continuity at but.....

Some time ago, I replaced the OEM T14 blue ribbon male connector with a different set of connectors. At that time I'd ruled out using the diesel glow plug light for my check engine light on my Jetta motor swap so didn't leave access for future wires.

I can't access the connectors at the male T14 connections on the blue ribbon. Please see this image: (and my apologies if the work makes you cringe. It does work though and has held up quite well):
