thank you all...

so it's cast lower arms vs. stamped steel ones.. are they interchangeable? is the cast ones are harder to find?

the other thing that surprise me is the ride height...

- syncro1 has stock springs with OME shocks (8 years old) - 14" alloy rims with General Grabber AT2 27x8.5R14 - no pad under the springs --> 18" from center hub to fender lip

- syncro2 has stock springs with stock shocks (27 years old) - 16" alloy rims with BFG AT KO2 215x65R16 - no pad under the springs --> 19" from center hub to fender lip

note: both tire/rim combos (14" and 16") have the same overall diameter of 27"

I'd think/expect the syncro2 sits lower or at least the same heights since it has older shocks...

could syncro1 has worn springs and shocks? (springs specially)

dan
