Pull the knobs and then the jam nuts. Underneath the front of the face are 3 small Phillips screws. Pull the bottom out and push the face plate up. There is normally crap in the upper lip, clean it out as best you can and spray some WD40 or something along the edge to help break up the crap. They are tight coming off and just barely pass the shafts.
