While dielectric grease sounds like a good idea and it is good to slow down and prevent corrosion it can often cause more grief than good. One of the problems with the connectors on some of the fuel injection sensors is that the actual connectors do not have sufficient spring pressure wipe off any debris or corrosion and maintain a good electrical connection during temperature changes and vibrating conditions. Adding grease under the contacts can just add another insulating factor and with the low voltage that these sensors operate at can make things a lot worse. If a bad connection is thought than the fix is to repair the harnesses with new crimp terminals for the female contacts. Checked out the wiring to the O2 sensor, cleaned added deieletric grease, no difference Westy ran for a couple of years with no miss fire.
