I try to keep my highway speed at 60 mph. Sometimes it creeps up to 65, particularly when there is downhill. Depending on conditions, I may try to stay at 55 mph. I didn't get this thing to go fast, I got it to go camping. It isn't built for speed. It is noisy at high speed, and handles better at moderate speeds. The gas consumption increases dramatically at higher speeds. By staying at 60 mph I get about 20 mpg. When I tried to 70 mph years ago on interstates it was more like 16 mpg. mcneely On Thu, Aug 31, 2017 at 10:41 AM, Dan N <dn92610@gmail.com> wrote: > *-What kind of highway speeds do people feel comfortable in sustaining?* > 60mph to 65mph > > *-What are preferred oil brands and grade these days?* > I use this oil with Mann oil filter > https://lucasoil.com/products/hot-rod-high-performance/hot- > rod-classic-car-20w-50-motor-oil > |
