exhaust leak in the pipe/connector pre OX sensor could give hiccups too..the OX sensor is fooled by the leak, sends signals to the ECU then the fuel/air ratio is wrong.. which in turn create all sort of problems including hiccups..

exhaust leak in the area post OX sensor has no effect... except noises
