Hmmm.... . Isn't pressure at the filter different from pressure at the engine? Also, that sandwich, added to the factory oil cooler, plus in my case the adapter for an external oil cooler, and the filter mount would be getting sort of crowded.

I added an extension onto the engine case mount for one sender, and used a t-fitting to mount the gauge sender there also. The result, a gauge sender that works just fine, and both low and high pressure warnings working also. The original set up is not tampered with (except for putting one sender on an extension to make it easier to access).

Actually, a highly competent mechanic did this for me. I am a klutz.
