This is not a question about the Muppets Band, but I have two electrical question as I finally try to get my electrical problems worked out.

While I wait for the replacement auxiliary battery, I thought I'd get some recommendations around the radio.

1. I think I damaged my after market, Pioneer radio/cd player. What can you recommend as a replacement? Don't need CD, but like the rest of the new bells and whistles.

2. I'm figuring this is the big draw on the aux battery, as the previous owner wired it strangely to the aux battery. I'm finding a wire, I believe coming from the aux battery box (via fridge relay), that is connecting a spade connector that is slipped into the fuse slot for the radio, ceiling light, lighter socket. It does the trick, but I'm not sure it is the most recommended. Is there a better way to do this?

3. I'd rather not have to install a cutoff switch for the radio, but is there something else to minimize the draw while not in use?

Oh, it's an '87 Westy.

Any help, greatly appreciated.

Jeremy
