Subject:      Problem with Latrical starter

I installed the Latrical starter with Karl's adapter 750 miles ago on my
Subaru conversion. Every few starts the gear does not retract fully and it's
hit by the spinning TC, making a loud buzz or growl. Restarting once or
twice fixes it, but it's bad for the ring gear, and I don't think this will
go away on its own.



On to a new Bosch diesel starter for me, but I'm wondering if others are
using the Latrical and what their experiences are.
