I don't recall any particular difficulty, it's just bolted to the head using the same holes used for engine grounds on the other head.

No fooling involved, the AFM simply reports on whatever air passes through it. The Aux Air Regulator, as you suggest, allows extra metered air to pass into the intake plenum without going through the throttle body. when I pinch it off at startup the > idle doesn't change. Thus the initial question as to what temperature it is > open. It might open at freezing temperatures but is it open at 80 degrees?
It's open enough to make some difference on a cold start at any reasonable ambient temp. Yrs, d |
