OK, so I just broke off one of the pins holding on my VW front emblem on the '87 Westy (84.5 grille). Any hints on how to remove the spring washer (?) holding the pins? I tried spray lube, and no luck. Am I doomed to buy a new one? BTW, I lost the e-mail about the trim black paint from NAPA that someone brought up on the brown to black thread. Can you refresh my memory?

Dave B.
