I sure did! And it was quite expensive.  And the bus looks Great.  I have a grille from my ol' 84.5 that is in excellent condition, although in brown, with an emblem so shiny, I have to be sure to be in the shade when I put it on.  Well, almost...  And it came from my spare part collection.
Thank you Mr. Beieri for bringing up RTV.  I am quite familiar with the product and have used it in many "interesting" applications.  Hmm, I wonder if it would work on the firebox of my fridge?

OK, so I just broke off one of the pins holding on my VW front emblem on the '87 Westy (84.5 grille).  Any hints on how to remove the spring washer (?) holding the pins?  I tried spray lube, and no luck.  Am I doomed to buy a new one?
BTW, I lost the e-mail about the trim black paint from NAPA that someone brought up on the brown to black thread.  Can you refresh my memory?
