I have a rebuilt TB from VC from Whip13, it works great but it does need some lube from time to time. I put a lot of miles on my truck, I can tell when it's getting bad as the idles remains high. I think even the sealed bearings in that heat need. Little attention.

Disconnect the cable and test the TB opening and closing smoothly. These cables have a bellows that fails and gunk can get into the tube. http://www.gowesty.com/product-details.php?v=&id=3524 > > Check your pedal too. > > Stuart > > -----Original Message----- > From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com] On Behalf Of Andrew R. > Sent: Thursday, October 05, 2017 8:54 AM > To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM > Subject: "sticky" new Gowesty throttle body > > Hi all, > > Have a couple hundred miles on the this unit now.
