Thanks for the exhaust info. At this point, I will keep things simple by using the RV 1.8 exhaust manifold that came with the engine/diesel parts I bought. A person on the samba (Bill) swore by his "toilet bowl" exhaust set up and said the exhaust never had any cracks. Having built at least 3 different versions of exhaust for my 15º swap, I'll gladly sacrifice a few HP for exhaust longevity. ....... I hope!
