My observation:

The VV91 Edition of the Vanagon Bentley omitted a bit that is germane to earlier buses. Namely wiring diagrams & mention of the early Westy stuff. Stan Wohlfarth tried to get it replaced and it may have been, in editions printed after 2005 or so. http://tech.bentleypublishers.com/thread.jspa?messageID=43348&#43348

My advise is that if you own a post ’86 bus the current one will be best. If you own a pre-’86 bus, the 1985 edition may well be more appropriate.

I own an ’82 and an ’84. An ’85 edition rides in the buses. The latest edition sits on the shelf.

Was still fairly small although I recall it having air cooled, diesel, and of course the early Waterboxer stuff. The book kept changing to include some of the stuff unique to 90 and 91 especially wiring options. >> >> Dennis
