Yeah, nobody's going to buy that van for $2500. You might stop by some auto body shops to find out if that graphic can be removed. It's could be possible depending on the paint used. 

Another idea is to stop by an auto body supply store, like Wesco, and call some of the folks who have posted cards on their bulletin board. These guys are looking for extra jobs.  It might come off with a lacquer thinner wash done by a professional.

Hi folks,

I've been trying to sell my 85, manual vanagon for a few months now and haven't had any luck. I think I'm in a rural area with not much interest.

Anyway, I am leaving tomorrow for Florida and have no idea what to do with it at this point. My options are to take it (and it really isn't ready for another 1500 mile trip with only 3 days to get there) and leaving here (in northern PA in a barn) is not a great alternative. I'm worried it will get destroyed by mice and the like.

Anyway, so in a last ditch effort, I'm asking the community for help.

Does anyone want to buy my van (I'd part with it for $3000, or as close as I can get to it) or does anyone have a storage solution ?
