Best just cap off the 2 hoses. Keep in mind the 2.1L really needs the cooler for operation near or above 4,000 rpm for extended periods.

What is the best way to eliminate the cooler? I was thinking of removing it and connecting the coolant hoses together. Any downside to that setup?
