Yes! Several mechanics have told me it makes a difference in the service they provide. Appliance repairers say the same thing.

In my home improvement business I'm sure I'm more meticulous in a super clean house vs a pig sty.

I'm also careful to wash or rinse my bottles and cans before returning them for the deposit. The attendant will sometimes add to my count.
