How did this part get messed up? Usually if it is damaged it is due to the governor jamming or seizing in the bore. This happens due to contaminated ATF. The debris in the ATF gets caught between the shaft and bore jamming it. The debris is due to something in the transmission failing and that lousy excuse for a filter screen doesn't catch the small stuff. If this is what happened you need to do an overhaul including replacing the torque converter.

I am in need of the shaft on the front of an auto trans govenor. It is a 4 point shaft on the govenor on the side of the diff. I could use either the shaft or the govenor assembly. Does anyone have or know where I could get one?

Thanks, Pat Patterson 803-370-0373 SESRating@aol.com I am in SC near Charlotte NC
