I don't know what it is, but if you need it and give me a few days I could find out. I imagine parts stores could get hold of something similar. It doesn't have to be identical to original, just similar to make a seal.

I sed craft foam from Micheals craft store about ten or twelve hears ago and it's fine. It comes in a thin sheet, about 1/16th, which is what you want. Too think and it won't seal well.

I have also heard of using thin packing foam that electronics sometimes come wrapped in.

In any event, the application is simple. Take out the little inserts (hard to describe, you'll know them when you see them) that hold the long rods with flaps in place. Pull them out of the heater box, marking CAREFULLY which is which and which way it goes. Pop off the plastic clamping strips, being careful not to damage them. This is how the foam is affixed. You will need them all. I have a spare full set if anyone needs any. cut the foam to shape, and reinstall, snapping the clamping strips down to hold it in place. Reinstall the long rods and you are good to go.

Jim
