All good points for sure. Look at my photo show of this project and you will see other things that need to be looked after. Like checking the heater core and replacing it if it’s leaking, refurbishing the metal shield for the heater core if it’s rusted as usual, cleaning out all the accumulation of dirt from the housing, glueing on a cover on the exposed bushing on the new blower motor unless it came with one. One of the photos shows the foam seals I use, you will need to get all the flaps nice and clean to get the new foam seals with self stick backing to stick. Make sure the ballast resistor is working, if not find a replacement. If the locking tabs that hold in the foot well flap in place are broken I have new ones in stock. Clean the fire wall where the heater sits and rust proof with something like Krown Oil. We have just about any part you may need for this job: www.frankcondelli.com Anything you're not sure of, message me off list and I will respond, I’ve done many of these and will have the answer for you.
