I must agree … I was four days into the cross-country return, from Calgary, with the then newly acquired Hyena when I discovered the remote for the radio. When you are in the upper bunk and the (then) 3-yr old had just fallen asleep after a day of over stimulation, it was sanity saving to not have to try to climb out - without waking the strung-out toddler - to turn off the three hundredth playing of “Pollywog in a Bog”. > On 31-Dec-2017, at 10:05, ddbjorkman@verizon.net <ddbjorkman@VERIZON.NET> wrote: > > That remote is a really big plus in a Westy. When one is all snuggled in the bed, it seems like a really long way to the front to turn off the radio. Power, sound, and that damn antenna bouncing everywhere. I suppose I could mount it more permanently but as I use the van seasonally I put it in a different car in the winter. That’s really the only plus but it’s a big plus. > > I love having a remote.
