My experience as well. They don't fit into tight spaces and I broke the tab of mine the third time I used it.

Hose clamps, that is. A lot of folks seem to favor cable-operated tools but I think they're more trouble than they're worth. I've done very well with a NAPA pliers-type tool that's actually made by K-D.
