I run bus depot "Motorcycle" H4 housings on my '81 and more recently on my
'88. Can't say I like the look of the old style grille-round headlights on
my '88. The higher wattage bulbs seem to burn out faster. Most auto shops
in WA, OR, etc and here at home, don't have higher wattage bulbs "on the
rack" so a burnout on a road trip might mean ending up with mismatched
bulbs. I now run standard 55/60 Watt bulbs and find the amount of light
sufficient. But, I also have Hella fog lights aimed low-somewhat wide for
"deer" lighting that I use sometimes. They probably don't provide much
potential advantage but do "fill" the roadside lighting somewhat.
