thanks for the follow up, Julianna. I thought I had read a post by him over on the Samba and have been curious  ... that's disappointing to say the least. heart breaking personally because we e-mailed a [very] few times and he was so generous with his time and vast knowledge. he was pretty cool about Vanagon stuff too so, aren't we all a little better for the interactions ?  thanks, Jim  RiP                mike
