Great tip, though, as I’ll have to send in the lock it would not be a inconvenience to send along a key. Still the less I need to send and keep track of the better!

Did you ask Steve, or are you assuming you need to send them back? The locksmiths with whom we work (apartment buildings) keep records of keys/key trees they’ve made for customers and you can simply call them to get a new key made … or send a lock to have it re-pinned.
