Hi folks,

        A friend, possibly, even on this list, is planning to replace a tired 2.1 with a late model VW TDI say from a 200 3 or later donor car.
 So, When I’m sitting around the table or camp fire trying to sound knowledgable and all informed what are some of the advantages or concerns of that particular swap?

        And, is there a specific email list for those running that set. Up? 

Give me good info and hopefully my friend is not reading this and I get to sound all kinds of brilliant.
