Good to know, Jon. I'll pick up a new cap and rotor. It's an 1987 with 2.1 WBX, so Digifant.

Yep, it bounces around after warming up. In fact, I was not able to adjust the idle mixture screw such that the O2 sensor voltage stayed within the .5 to .8 range (would drop down to .1 and .2 area) as per the Samba link on adjusting the AFM. I've not as yet gone further with the AFM beyond trying to adjust the idle mixture; perhaps the other adjustments mentioned will keep the voltage within that range.
