Eric:

Did you ask Steve, or are you assuming you need to send them back? The locksmiths with whom we work (apartment buildings) keep records of keys/key trees they’ve made for customers and you can simply call them to get a new key made … or send a lock to have it re-pinned.

Bugs me that I don’t have a key for it and that I’d have to send them both back to Steve to match up. Actually, I might be able to send him the lock and my key from my glove box. I’ll have to check on that. > > I really like his fresh keys and he has some nice rather special blanks to pick from. > > Eric > > > On Feb 11, 2018, at 15:35, Alistair Bell <albell@shaw.ca> wrote: > > Thanks Eric, > > although I don’t have a key for my glove compartment, I just recently bought a pedestal seat and though that maybe I should get key for that and my glove box. > > Sounds like a good plan to send both to Steve. and also my main key code to finally get a fresh and good main key. > > Thanks again, > > Alistair > > >> On Feb 11, 2018, at 12:29 PM, Eric Caron <eric.caron@icloud.com> wrote: >> >> Hi Alistair, >> >> When I was working with Steve Sandlin on getting my keys I had to send him my lock from my glove box. he had to take it apart and match it up.
