This is a 1963 VW camper brochure. I'm amused by the pelican, the boating analogy and the spare tire table base used in the side tent, but did women really go camping wearing pleated skirts in 1963? (No, I was camping then.)

I think in 1963 VW was going after sophisticated city slickers, but the market was really young people, including hippies.

Sorry you can't see this Eric, but this is worth having someone describe the photos to you.
