Subject: hard to shift into 2nd
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8"

hi all,

on my 88 2WD Carat I have mechanic put in a new clutch slave cylinder, a new rear shift linkage, the front shift linkage is about one year old...

now it's bit hard to get to 2nd from 1st gear... all other gear are fine including reverse thought the shift lever feels a bit tighter..

is it because of the rear linkage is new and light? should I leave it alone for awhile and it be better? or is there some adjustment to be made?

thanks

dan
