I still have the original canvas in my 87 Westy Weekender. I bought the van with 200K miles off a used car lot in Everett WA and at that time I don’t believe the top had ever been opened as the tongue on the latch had no scratches from the locking pin. In the 8 years since I purchased it, the mosquito screen has torn where it had been folded for so many years. I have a new 3 window canvas to install but we don’t really have a lot of bugs in PNW...

I also don’t believe anyone had ever used the either beds of even closed the curtains. Too freaky to pass up!
