Yes Your 84 is DigiJet so it does have an H'C'U' ~ Honestly it is something that I had not heard or thought about

until recently when looking to find things that might by bothered by heat, while diag'ing a friends 85 that encounters

occasional random Hiccups & ShutDowns most always after long runs in warmish conditions ~

I removed the H'C'U' from Its HeatSink & found the Mating Surfaces to be Quite Cruddy > Cleaned & Applied a

new coat of HeatSink Compound ~ While it may not have been the cause of the issue being addressed, it sure seems

like a Good thing to do for a 33Yr Old Part (aside from replacing it) ~ Also cleaned It's connector & those of the I'C'U ~
