How about adding spacers to steel wheels if you decide to add bigger brakes? Has anyone done that? Steel wheels don't break, alloys do. I go to remote areas in my Vanagon. Iearned the hard way with alloys in Baja... These Vanagons are .made for adventure... Depending on offset you will need spacers and longer lug bolts. T3 technique has some good info on SAMBA on this.

The thing is $600 for a set of alloys is not in the budget. Any suggestions for a less expensive alternative, I don’t care if they are steel wheels. > > Thanks, > Bryan > > > Sent from Mail<https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=550986> for Windows 10 |
