besides the idle control module went bad, there's another option worth to try bringing the idle down.. - clean the ICV/Idle Control Valve if no result do this -- leave the ICV attached and connected - unplug the connector - shine a flashlight in the rear cavity to locate the very small allen screw - use a #3 (?) allen key to turn the screw clock wise to lower the idle - counter clockwise to rise the idle if no result then either the ICV or the ICM went bad... or broken vacuum hose/air leak on intake booth and the such |
