I just visited my mechanic to arrange for the spring checkup for my '85 Westy (getting spring fever). One mechanical issue I have had recently is with the axles, I have gone through 3 sets in three years. These are Chinese axles, that my prior mechanic said were known to be poor but had a life time warranty, so we just kept replacing them. I am no longer happy with that approach, nor is my new mechanic. But, new mechanic does not know of any source for quality (non-Chinese) axles. Does anyone on the list have some recommendations?

Thank you

Dave B.
