Just my $.02.... I rebuilt a 2.0 air cooled last summer for a friend...he was (and has) run 20W50 Amsoil synthetic for 10 years in the engine...yes it was a little wet on the outside, but inside it was clean like it had just been built...one of the easiest rebuilds in decades for me (considering the two before that were grenades)... I bought a case, and will be freshening the o-rings and seals on my engine and switching it up...yes it was that impressive... The other DennisNear Toronto Canada. You can run Mobil 1 15w50.  I buy mine at Wall-Markt.
