Subject: Type 4 heavy duty oil pump advise for mounting the oil cooler in
              the front.
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8; format=flowed

Dear list

I am getting rid off my oil cooler by using a oil bypass with a cooler mounted in the front.

There's an extra 16 feet hose for the oil to go to the front .

Should I use a stock oil pump or a heavy duty one ?

I came across this heavy duty one on aircooled.net bor my type of engine (vanago air-cooled 1983)

http://vwparts.aircooled.net/MELLING-30mm-Cast-Iron-Oil-Pump-Type-4-Engines-p/melling-type-4.htm

Any advise ?

Thanks
