Dear List My new pressure plate cracked after about 2000 miles . its also looks like the new clutch was ruined. I am a very driver and never had to change the clutch in 30+ years of manual driving. Can a faulty transmission responsible of it. the first rebuilt transmission with a new "main shaft" was a piece of #$#, the second gear was constantly popping out. some time, it was quite brutal because it was happening at hight RPM on the decent using the engine break. The replacement (with no new main shaft I paid $1000 previously) was rushed in, we had to change the 3 seals and it is still a piece of ....but a 5 years warranties piece of ... I have the feeling I will use it. Any way, could it be that the faulty transmission responsible of the crack ? this is the only explanation I have
THanks
