I seem to be full of anxiety about having extricated the van from the garage (just in time to get pelted by ice).

So I tried reading some threads to get some warm fuzzies...

But instead, I broke out in hives when I looked at the non-sense graduations on the instruments from this thread: (no reflection on the original poster, who was just the messenger of the news):

OK, it's roughly 10 psi between the graduations on "bar" pressure gauge -- they are mixing units -- I get it -- whatever.

But the temperature -- it's terrible, logarithmic scale or not. Ok, maybe 90 - 130 C is the critical information that we need to see; and we are just looking for trends, anyways.

But can't the graduations be arranged better? Or does this work on some different level? What temperature range will be indicated during normal operation?
