If the body has little to no rust and you've already invested money into other parts, I vote for "keep it".

Whats wrong with the 150K mile engine? Low oil pressure? Or?

I'm just finishing up a DIY engine conversion. True to my nature, I'm doing some things differently, and I rebuilt the engine, so all that adds time, but I must say its taken a long time. It totally depends on the swap and method you choose but i think most engine conversions can take way longer than anticipated. Of course that could be true of an engine rebuild, depending on ones skill levels.
