Hi Ed. so you are saying that only 3 of the grille screws connect/work properly? That's what I am testing now with my spare (damaged) grille. This could save me some time. Have you encountered strong cross winds at highway speed? Sorry about your crash. It must have been extensive to lose those 2 outer connect points on the upper nose panel.

My 86 has been like that for year as a result of another Carolina Crash. I also backdated from rectangular to round lights. no trouble with grille coming loose or anything.
